작가노트  

​

자연은 순리를 따라 흐르며 무한히 고요하다.

머릿속에 있는 어떠한 생각도 자연 앞에서는 조용해진다.

흘러가는 물은 부드러운 지혜를 보여주고,

돌의 투박한 표면은 자연이 지닌 강한 생명력을 나타낸다.

​

나는 그러한 자연의 아름다움을 빌려 창작한다. 
붓과 종이가 수없이 부딪혀 만들어낸 세밀한 묘사들로

돌의 흠집을 조각한다.

​

그 과정에서 작품에 생명력을 불어 넣고, 내 마음에 고요함을 심는다. 

자연의 본질을 표현하기 위해 먹과 돌을 사용한다.

묵색과 물의 표면, 제각기 다른 모양의 돌이

누군가의 고요함에 가 닿길 바라는 마음을  작품 속에 녹여내고 있다.

​

당신의 마음이 끊임없는 속삭임으로 소란스러울 때,

작품을 통해 잠시나마 자연의 순리에서 오는 적막한 고요를 느끼며

쉬어 갈 수 있길 바란다.

 Artist Statement​

​

Nature flows in accordance with the principles and is infinitely quiet. Every thought in my head is silent before nature. The flowing water shows soft wisdom, and the rough surface of the stone shows the strong vitality of nature.

I use that kind of natural beauty to create. 
A detailed description created by colliding many brushes with paper is used to engrave stone wounds. In the process, I breathe life into my work and instill peace in my mind. 

Ink and stone are used to express the nature of nature. The hope that the stone of different shapes, such as the ink color and the surface of the water, will reach someone's tranquility is melted into the work.

When your heart is noisy with constant whispers, I hope you can rest in my work, feeling the loneliness and tranquility that comes from nature.
